Do Patents Belong in the Crypto Space?

I can’t help but think of the word “mine” when it comes to patents. It’s a lock on an idea that can’t be improved upon unless the holder agrees.

For me they don’t fit the movement. The closer we get to decentralization the further away we stray from the reliance on an individual and a purchased patent.

This movement is ours not his/hers. Open source is the future. Distributed ownership is the future.

People are learning, earning and contributing towards a better future and a better quality of life.

More and more people are engaging because they can. It’s like the ants realising their strength in numbers.

I had an idea (which I’m sure many people before me had) that we could distribute ownership across the bottom 90 percentile. We would own the companies we rely upon to survive.

An idea which meant there was no individual leach at the top of the chain. Where profits were pumped back into the workers pensions, more affordable products and better pay for employees.

Where everybody owns a percentage however small. No dividends for a small group of people but more affordable living and better living conditions for us all.

We’d each own 0.00001% of the companies we need to survive. $1 from 7 billion people buying out greed 1 company at a time I thought it was gone/not possible and then I realised This is crypto.

Greed has a price and we are currently paying it.
