The Parisian mural that contained a Bitcoin riddle worth $1,000 in BTC has been cracked.

Pboy painted the mural in support of the Yellow Vests protests that have plagued France since November. Inside Pboy’s painting were 12 hidden seed phrases needed to form the private key that unlocked a Bitcoin wallet containing 0.28 BTC. Anyone who found the phrases could claim the Bitcoin.

According to Pboy, it took seven days for two participants to crack the code.

“The riddle was solved today by @ marabrito31 and Antoine Ferron. The latter posted on his twitter account; ‘@ marabrito31 & I just found the @pascalboyart’s wall painting puzzle in Paris. We are very happy to win this race. We thank pboy, @alistairmilne, and every people Involved in this artwork for Their creativity.

They managed to find the keys to the ‘private key’ that gave them access to the funds (0.2891btc, about $ 1000 in the morning) and then transferred them to their address.”
