199,999,980 XRP Sent to Coinbase As Bitcoin Traders Move Massive Amounts of BTC

A heap of XRP is heading to Coinbase as Bitcoin traders rotate nearly half a billion dollars worth of BTC.

According to the on-chain crypto tracker Whale Alert, a large XRP holder just sent $199,999,980 XRP from an unknown wallet to crypto exchange Coinbase.

According to Bithomp, the whale originally received the nearly $200 million XRP on December 30th in twenty transactions of 10 million XRP each.

The owner of the crypto could be looking to sell XRP on the open market or relying on the company to store the assets for safekeeping.

Crypto traders are also tracking two huge BTC bags that are on the move. Late on Tuesday, an unknown wallet received 3,201 BTC worth approximately $111.6 million. That wallet sent the majority of the 3,201 BTC to another unknown wallet late Wednesday in its second recorded transaction.

At around the same time a separate, unknown Bitcoin whale sent 3,296 BTC worth $115.6 million to a an unidentified wallet.

The recipient shortly sent the huge sum of BTC away to yet another unknown wallet, according to Blockchain.com.
