Popular YouTubers DataDash and Suppoman are both bullish on Modum, which made its post-ICO entry on EtherDelta last month. Now listed on Binance, Modum has been experiencing double digit percentage swings.
As the Internet of Things bears more meaning and interest, Modum may be poised to be a big winner. It’s initial use case is to combine IoT sensors with blockchain technology to monitor the temperature of sensitive pharmaceuticals during shipping.
Another hot project in the IoT space is WaltonChain. Like Modum, it combines blockchain and RFID technologies to streamline supply chain management.
As goods get moved around the globe, logistics histories will reveal an increasing number of key metrics: time and location of delivery, climate control of goods, type of storage, handling, notifications to sender and receiver and release of goods.
