Basic Attention Token Joins Fight against YouTube Adpocalypse

Basic Attention Token is designed to dramatically change the world of digital advertising, by creating a revenue stream that can be exchanged between publishers, advertisers, and users. The Brave Browser is a Google Chrome competitor designed to make it happen.

An update to the Brave Browser allows you to donate Basic Attention Tokens (BAT) directly to YouTubers.

This gives YouTube creators an additional way to collect revenue at a time when many say controversial changes to the platform have left them earning far less money.  Whether there will be widespread adoption of this new feature remains to be seen.
