Man Loses $100,000 in Bitcoin on Public Wifi Network

A 36-year-old man lost more than $100,000 in Bitcoin after joining a public wifi network at a restaurant in Austria.

According to the Associated Press, police say the money was transferred to an unidentified and untraceable account.

Right now, it’s not clear whether the man was logged into an exchange or a cryptocurrency wallet when it happened.

It’s another reminder to stay vigilant with your crypto. Keep your keys safe and watch out for malware.
