Bitcoin Gold Releases Critical Warning After Hack

A critical warning has just been posted at bitcoingold.org, warning that the downloadable wallet on the site has been serving a suspicious file for the last 36 hours.

Links on Bitcoin Gold’s Github page were affected as well.

The developers are recommending that anyone who downloaded the Windows Wallet from November 24, 2017, 13:11, UTC and November 25, 2017, 22:30, UTC should avoid using the file at all costs.

The company has replaced the links on its website and Github page, and says they are now safe to use.
