Shakepay Adds Litecoin

Breaking $350, Litecoin is having an epic week with a new all-time high. Up more than 4000% year-to-date, Litecoin is both a Bitcoin hedge and a Bitcoin alternative. It’s now being added to Shakepay, a VISA prepaid card that allows you to buy anything with cryptocurrencies. As Litecoin challenges Bitcoin and competitive rivals Bitcoin Cash and Dash to turn cryptocurrencies into more than digital assets, adoption and mainstream integration for shoppers and consumers are the key to capturing attention, market share and everyday users.

Shakepay allows a user to pre-load an account with Litecoin, Bitcoin, Dash and Ethereum. The cryptocurrencies are converted into US dollars or Euros for spending at any locations that accept pre-paid VISA.

Virtual cards are generated by a 16-digit account number for online transactions online. Plastic cards are available with a chip and pin for all point of sale transactions, ATM withdrawals and online orders.
