Rapper 50 Cent Earned Millions By Accepting Bitcoin Early

When listing the early adopters of Bitcoin, be sure to include rap superstar 50 Cent.

The rapper accepted Bitcoin as payment for his album “Animal Ambition” back in 2014.

By doing so, he earned about 700 Bitcoin, according to TMZ. Today, that’s worth at least $7 million in cold, hard cash.

Years later, other artists are starting to get on board the digital currency gravy train.

Weezer, G-Eazy, Mariah Carey among others started accepting Monero while Björk opted for Bitcoin along with Litecoin, Audiocoin and Dash for her latest release Utopia.
