Singapore-based entertainment company BINGO just launched QTUM Heroes, its first crypto game. The company plans to be a pioneer in the brand new gaming-on-the-blockchain space. Its debut release, QTUM Heroes, is different from collectibles games like CryptoKitties. It has dynamic interactions where players are rewarded in cryptocurrency payments.
Designed as an online arena game, the project was developed by BINGO’s game-studio arm MobArts in collaboration with QTUM, a Singabore-based blockchain that merges a modified Bitcoin Core infrastructure with smart contract technology.
In QTUM Heroes, players choose a hero, pay an entry free and then battle against other heroes. According to the game’s creators, the heroes are equipped with unusual weapons to help them battle it out for complete domination.
Players can fight for a championship trophy to increase the stats of their hero by joining the 8-Hero Melee Battle. The winners will also receive a reward in cryptocurrency.
According to BINGO CEO Matt Lee,
“The BINGO platform is centered around the digital currency, based on the blockchain technology. It is also combining Social, Game, Advertising, Data Analysis System, Game Leveling and BINGO Foundation modules to become a multi-functional pan-entertainment platform. The platform will reinvent the traditional game industry via many innovative solutions, such as a free and safe user community, rewards for users who answer professional questions, tips to star players, and an integrated smart contract translator.”
