When breaking down the top cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin’s dominance is clear. In fact, Bitcoin’s hold on the number one spot is the only truly consistent aspect of the chart.
Ethereum has risen steadily over the last few years, and Ripple has returned to the number 3 spot after a two-year hiatus. Many other coins, like Namecoin and Quark, have lost their top spots over the years, as well.
