Tron says its blockchain will be exponentially faster than Ethereum, with technology that will spark a revolution for blockchain developers.
According to Tron Labs, TRX’s mainnet that debuts on March 31st has achieved test speeds that are “hundreds of times” faster than Ethereum.
In a new Medium post, Tron says its platform will allow the blockchain industry to move past its reliance on Ethereum.
“Since Tron is Java-based and provides a developer-friendly environment, the industry will be able to break away from Ethereum and its low-efficiency, congestion-prone network, high fees and steep learning curve.
We will open the doors to a new cryptocurrency stage focused on scaling and commercialization, providing next generation infrastructure and express lanes needed for global dApp development.”
Tron says after it launches its mainnet, it will enter a test phase from June 1st to June 24th. After that, Tron will hold its “Super Representatives Election” on June 26th to select the organizations and individuals who will power the backbone of the Tron network.
