Tron Shoots Past IOTA – Is Now the 9th Biggest Cryptocurrency

So far today, Tron (TRX) is a bright green spot in a crypto sea of red.

Tron is up more than 5% at time of publishing as its mainnet launch on May 31st approaches. The spike lifted TRX past IOTA, helping the coin grab the 9th spot on CoinMarketCap.

Tron is making headlines at a fast clip lately, including the recent announcement of TronVM.

The virtual machine will allow developers to quickly bring Ethereum-based decentralized apps over to the Tron network. Tron also announced a program offering $100,000 loans to developers who choose to create DApps on the Tron blockchain.
