Artificial Intelligence Tries to Explain Bitcoin, Hilarity Ensues

It may be a while before AI is ready to explain the complexities of a concept like Bitcoin.

Tech-comedy group Botnik Studios unleashed their latest video – an unusual guide on Bitcoin. The group used its custom predictive text keyboard tool to analyze dozens of existing Bitcoin guides, and then create its own. After feeding the Botnik algorithm with material written by humans, its editorial AI process then produced this “original” guide.

Former Clickhole and Onion writer Jamie Brew along with writer Bob Mankoff, a humor editor at Esquire, developed the tool in collaboration with computational scientist Elle O’Brien and creative developer Joseph Parker.
