New Exchanges Supporting Tron (TRX) Blockchain Upgrade and Token Swap – Several Still in Limbo

Tron’s mainnet launch is set for May 31st, and exchanges are gearing up to make sure TRX tokens are successfully transferred onto the new blockchain. After the mainnet launches, the token swap is expected to be complete by June 24th.

The easiest way to make sure your tokens make it onto the new blockchain is to hold them on an exchange that supports the upgrade. Liqui is the latest exchange to announce its support for the migration.

In all, 15 exchanges have confirmed they will support the blockchain upgrade.

• Bithumb
• Bittrex
• Gate.io
• Zebpay
• Upbit
• Bitpie
• Bixin
• Coinnest
• Coinrail
• Dragonex
• Liqui
• RIGHTBTC

OKEx, HitBTC and Huobi are three notable exchanges that have not yet announced their support.

If you’re not holding your TRX on an exchange, Tron says you will still be able to move your coins onto the new blockchain using a “permanent token-exchange counter” that is still in development.
