According to the team at Tron, there’s now less than 10 hours until the platform’s long-awaited mainnet launch. With the countdown on, new announcements are being made at a rapid rate.
Huobi.Pro now says it will support the TRX blockchain upgrade, adding its name to the growing list of exchanges on board with the token migration. Here’s an updated look at which exchanges are supporting the launch and will automatically switch TRX tokens over to the new blockchain:

Meanwhile, Tron just announced it will host a livestream called “A Call for Independence” to celebrate the occasion.
The team has also released a rundown on how the coming mainnet launch fits into Tron’s timeline, and exactly when TRX will no longer be an ERC20 token.
After the mainnet upgrade, Tron has promised its blockchain will be hundreds of times faster than Ethereum.
The company is making a big push to convince developers to create DApps on the new network, offering a virtual machine to port Ethereum projects over, as well as offering $100,000 loans to developers who use the Tron blockchain.
Tron also recently unveiled an updated roadmap outlining its post-mainnet launch plans.
