Tron is hours away from its ‘Independence Day,’ when TRX is scheduled to migrate off the Ethereum blockchain and leave its days as an ERC20 token behind.
“Our team is working hard to make sure that the migration runs smoothly and the network is secure,” says Tron founder Justin Sun.
The token swap will be 1:1, which means TRX holders will have the same number of tokens after the migration is complete.
Tron is hosting a 12-hour live stream event to celebrate the occasion.
With the clock ticking, a number of crypto exchanges have announced their support for the token migration at the last minute, meaning they will handle the token swap on behalf of their customers automatically.
The total number of exchanges and wallets on board now stands at 53.

Tron says Binance is the only exchange offering an ongoing token swap.
So if you missed the deadline to transfer your TRX tokens to one of the exchanges or wallets above, you can still transfer them to Binance and rest assured that they will be part of the token swap.
