Surprise Results Reveal Two Coins More Popular Than Ethereum, XRP and Litecoin at $1.5 Billion Crypto Fund

One of the biggest cryptocurrency investment firms with $1.5 billion in crypto assets is revealing which coins its customers prefer most.

According to Grayscale Investments, Bitcoin is by far the leader, with more than 1.3 billion in assets under management.

Number two on the list is Ethereum Classic, at $90 million. The coin surged in popularity and grabbed headlines due to its new listing on Coinbase.

Next up is Zcash at $24 million, Ethereum at $18 million, Bitcoin Cash at $10 million, XRP at $5 million and Litecoin at $0.5 million.

According to Grayscale, 56% of its clientele are institutional investors with deep pockets.

The remainder is spread between accredited individuals at 20%, retirement accounts at 16% and family offices at 8%.
