Tron’s new blockchain just hit a big milestone, with all 27 ‘Super Representatives’ that power the network voted into place.
The representatives are elected by the Tron community and are assigned with the crucial tasks of validating transactions and creating new blocks.
Tron officially left its roots as an Ethereum-based token and launched its own network late last month. Since then, 53 cryptocurrency exchanges have migrated Tron’s old ERC20 tokens onto the new blockchain.
Tron is also gearing up for the official release of its virtual machine, which will give developers the tools they need to create decentralized apps. That release is planned for the end of the month.
