Top Coins on Google Trends

As for the top five crypto search terms on Google Trends over the past 30 days, Bitcoin remains way out in front in the US with an average interest of 78, followed by NEO (15), EOS (14), Ripple (14), and Tron (10). Ethereum, which had more Google Trends traction last week and an average interest of 21, has fallen to 8.

Top Coins on Twitter

On Twitter, the results remain largely the same as last week, with Bitcoin, Tron, Ethereum, XRP and Litecoin leading the top five, according to CoinTrendz.

Market Cap Dominance: Bitcoin vs. Altcoins

Bitcoin dominance has been climbing steadily over the past few months, rising to 53.2% of the market cap for all cryptocurrencies. On May 7, Bitcoin dominance stood at 36.4%.
