Reality Gaming is setting up an instructional crypto pop-up shop in London that only accepts digital currency. This will kick off the start of Crypto Week, a new initiative for the gaming company.
Backed by Soho Radio and Jägermeister, the week will celebrate digital currency and educate the public on its uses.
Visitors to the store will get free masterclasses and free Reality Clash tokens (RCC). They can then use those tokens to make their first crypto transactions and buy merchandise promoting the company’s new mobile game. There will also be daily broadcasts on Soho Radio discussing the benefits blockchain can have on the music and gaming industries.
Reality Gaming co-founder Guy Pearce says,
“We are conscious that many people are aware of cryptocurrency but don’t know where to start with it – or think that you have to invest thousands of pounds.”
“London is already leading the way in the cryptocurrency scene, and so it’s right for us to dedicate a week to celebrating this brave new world.”
The event will run from Monday through Friday from September 10th through the 14th, and the schedule goes as follows:
Monday 10 September, 4 pm – A Beginner’s Guide To Buying & Using Cryptocurrency
Tuesday 11 September, 4 pm – Exploring The Cultural Impact Of Video Games In 2018
Wednesday 12 September, 4 pm – How The Music Industry Is Using The Blockchain
Thursday 13 September, 4 pm – Using The Blockchain & Cryptocurrency In Video Games
Friday 14 September, 5 pm – Lessons From A Professional Hacker
Visitors will also get a chance to play Reality Gaming’s highly anticipated new game, “Reality Clash.”
The store will be located at 22c Great Windmill Street, London W1D 7LD.
