From a Bitcoin backtrack to a new outlet for XRP, here’s a look at some of the stories breaking in the world of crypto.
Bitcoin (BTC)
Crypto investor and former Wall Street tycoon Mike Novogratz now says it’s unlikely that Bitcoin will hit $9,000 by the end of the year.
Novogratz made the reversal during a speech at the Economist Finance Disrupted event in Manhattan, reports CNBC. He expects crypto FOMO to return next year, and says he believes Bitcoin will cross $10,000 in the first half of 2019.
Ethereum (ETH)
A new poll on a popular Ethereum subreddit is revealing the average age of the avid ETH enthusiast.
After nearly 3,000 votes, the majority of users on the Ethtrader subreddit say they are 36 to 45 years old.
Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash
Litecoin founder Charlie Lee and Bitcoin Cash evangelist Roger Ver just went head-to-head in a friendly debate on the viability of the Lightning Network.
The duel took place at the Blockchain Cruise 2018 in the Mediterranean.
