Crypto analyst Nik Patel says Bitcoin bears are in disbelief as they watch the overall market cap of all cryptocurrencies climb in early 2019.

Patel says he believes the market is set for an altcoin bull run, although much smaller than the crypto market surge in December of 2017.
Right now, the crypto market is mostly red, with Bitcoin hovering just under $4,000. Bitcoin Cash and Stellar are the only coins in the top 10 in the green.

Overall, technical analysts are looking bullish, predicting the week may get off to a strong start.
