The crypto wallet officially launched an app in iTunes, allowing Apple Watch users to store, send and receive Bitcoin through the Lightning Network (LN), a scaling solution that’s designed to minimize transaction times while increasing the adoption and utility of Bitcoin.
List of features
- Open Source MIT Licensed – You can build it and run it on your own. Made with React Native
- Plausible Deniability – Password which decrypts fake wallets if you are forced to disclose your access
- Full Encryption – On top of iOS multi-layer encryption, we encrypt everything with added passwords
- SegWit and HD wallets – SegWit supported and HD wallets are enabled
The app is also designed to give users full control of their BTC by ensuring they own their own private keys.
As with any new platform that enables the sending and receiving of cryptocurrencies, users will need to do their due diligence to make sure the transmission is secure.
You can check out more details on the app here.
