The congressional hearing on cryptocurrencies is underway at 10:00 a.m. EST. The United States Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs will conduct a session entitled “Examining Regulatory Frameworks for Digital Currencies and Blockchain.”
Three expert witnesses will join the panel: Jeremy Allaire, co-founder and chief executive office of Circle, on behalf of The Blockchain Association; Rebecca M.
