Online travel agency CheapAir.com and web portal Bitcoin.com are partnering to serve crypto travelers.

Over four million Bitcoin.com Wallet users can now access CheapAir’s online booking engine from their mobile app, allowing them to pay for flights and hotels around the world in Bitcoin (BTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH).

Says Jeff Klee, CEO of CheapAir.com,

“At CheapAir.com we’re big fans of Bitcoin and we believe people deserve the freedom to use whatever payment methods that fit their lifestyle and values.

We wanted to partner with Bitcoin.com because of the great work they have done within the Bitcoin community, promoting crypto acceptance around the world. We value our crypto customers and support their efforts to build a more diverse and evolved financial system.”

A perk for travelers using cryptocurrency on CheapAir.com is that their purchases will be covered by the company’s exclusive service, Price Drop Payback.

If the price for the same itinerary goes down any time before a customer’s trip, CheapAir.com pays the difference in the form of a travel credit, up to $100 per ticket.

In 2013, CheapAir.com became the first US-based online travel agency to accept Bitcoin payments for flights and hotels. It now accepts payment in Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC) and Dash (DASH). The company just released its 5th annual airfare study revealing the best times to purchase airline tickets.
