The founder of Ripple-backed XRPL Labs has updated the XRP Rich List.
Wietse Wind says the overview of the biggest XRP addresses in existence now shows accounts, balances and whether an exchange or a business owns a given wallet, if the information is available.
The new data shows just 0.01% of all XRP addresses hold more than 14,400,000, which is worth about $3.8 million at time of publishing.
The numbers show addresses having a balance between 9,575 and 133,565 XRP have been on the rise over the last month. At the same time, addresses with 344,523 XRP or more have remained relatively flat.
The data does not include the XRP that Ripple holds in escrow. It does include 1 billion XRP that Ripple moved out of escrow, which it does at the start of every month in order to sell a fraction of its assets to crypto exchanges and institutional participants.
