Cryptocurrency exchange Bitsonic is entering Vietnam, following Upbit and CoinOne into the Southeast Asian market.

On November 11, Bitsonic, which is based in South Korea, announced its entrance into the Vietnamese cryptocurrency trading market through a partnership with Innovantech, a local blockchain developer in Vietnam.

Bitsonic in Vietnam will operate under the brand name Mtobit which will officially launch in the first quarter of next year. Mtobit will also partner with Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank), one of the leading banks in Asia, to open a fiat service.

According to an official from Bitsonic,

“Vietnam is Bitsonic’s first overseas market, and we will achieve efficient local service through cooperation with local banks and blockchain developers.”

On November 15 and November 17, Bitsonic will cooperate with Mtobit to hold a private meetup in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh, two major cities in Vietnam, to introduce Mtobit to investors as well as the media.
