The cryptocurrency derivatives trading company Phemex is offering a 2.1 Bitcoin (BTC) prize, currently valued at over $18,000, to anyone who can solve a picture puzzle that the exchange has shared via Twitter.
Managed by Jack Tao, a former Morgan Stanley executive, the Phemex platform offers advanced crypto derivatives trading options to institutional clients. As promised in a new tweet, Phemex will give 2.1 BTC to the person who can solve the puzzle, which depicts a portrait made out of a complex maze.
The image resembles Dorian Satoshi Nakamoto, a Japanese-American resident of Los Angeles who bears the same name as the pseudonymous creator of Bitcoin, but denies having anything to do with the leading cryptocurrency.
Clues that will help crypto sleuths unlock the private key are embedded in the puzzle. It has something to do with the first 21-digit prime that can be found in consecutive digits of the mathematical constant “e,” which represents Euler’s number.
The letters “ETH”, “XRP” and “Phemex” are also found inside the picture, suggesting that they might be additional clues that could help solve the puzzle.
