US-based online learning platform Coursera, which has more than 47 million users, is offering 21 different courses covering Bitcoin.
Leading universities and academic institutions are providing various crypto and blockchain-focused classes through Coursera, along with New York-based, Ethereum development studio ConsenSys, which is offering a blockchain-related program through the platform.
Princeton’s course on Bitcoin and crypto covers the basics on how Bitcoin works and what determines its value.
The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology is offering a course on fintech security and regulatory technology which teaches people about the know-your-customer and anti-money laundering laws that apply to Bitcoin and other digital assets.
[adinserter block="1"]The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania says they’ve prepared a curriculum for “individuals and organizations who want to learn how to navigate investment in cryptocurrencies.”
A recent report from LinkedIn reveals that blockchain professionals are in high demand in 2020. The report places expertise in blockchain at the top of its list of “hard skills”, above cloud computing, analytical reasoning and artificial intelligence.
The Coursera courses are open for free enrollment.
