The king coin ranks 12th among the 37 crypto assets that the CCID evaluated for the agency’s 18th Global Public Chain Technology Evaluation Index.
The CCID updates the index once every two months and ranks cryptocurrencies on their technology, applicability, features, performance, safety, creativity and decentralization.
Based on these criteria, the CCID ranks EOS at the top, with 156.1 points. Next is TRON with 138.43 points, Ethereum (ETH) with 136.4 points, IOST with 130.3, and LSK with 119.3 points.
BTC ranks 12th with 106.2 points. XRP, the third-largest cryptocurrency by market cap, also failed to make the top 10. It ranks 14th with 105 points.
While Bitcoin lags behind in the overall ranking, CCID believes Bitcoin is the most innovative digital asset.
Ethereum remains the top cryptocurrency when it comes to applicability, while IOST leads all other crypto assets in terms of basic technology.
