A prominent crypto reporter and artist is launching a contest that provides participants with the opportunity to win Bitcoin and more.
Jeff Fawkes, also known as Bitpainter to those in the industry, says that the contest titled Bitcoin Quest, which is the first of its kind, is designed to test players’ analytical skills.
Participants are required to analyze and decipher a Bitcoin seed phrase from a digital art created by Fawkes.
“It’s a competition where I draw pictures with hidden Bitcoin wallet seeds in them, and you keep whatever BTC you find.”
The launch’s Telegraph release says the rules are simple: those who find the seed first, win the BTC.
“Find the seeds using Official Quest Rules and Hints, Drain one or two winning seeds and win money or a Satochip hardware wallet. Do all of the above faster than those other crypto analysts.”
The release states that the Bitcoin is stored in the Electrum desktop wallet. According to the contest rules, participants will need to have advanced knowledge of Electrum wallets, one of the oldest Bitcoin wallets available. Some knowledge of Replace By Fee (RBF) – a mechanism for fixing a Bitcoin transaction that is stuck – will also be necessary.
Other rewards include 13 prizes worth $150 each and three Satochip hardware wallets. Winners will also get their names written into the Ethereum blockchain.
To participate, players should have a powerful personal computer, a large monitor and a Telegram account. No entry fee is required to participate.
