Coinbase, the leading US crypto exchange, says traders are gaining access to several popular altcoins.
The interoperable blockchain platform Polkadot (DOT) just debuted on Coinbase’s platform for professional traders, Coinbase Pro.
The altcoin, which is the eighth largest by market cap at time of publishing, is not yet on the company’s retail trading outlet, Coinbase.com.
The company says it will make a separate announcement if it decides to do so.
Coinbase Pro is also preparing to support the sports tokenization platform Chiliz (CHZ), the blockchain bridge Keep Network (KEEP) and the popular dog-themed crypto asset Shiba Inu (SHIB).
Those coins could also debut on Coinbase.com, although there is no timeline or announcement on that at time of publishing.
Chiliz is up 15% at time of publishing, at $0.31, Keep Network is up 5% at $0.55, and Shiba Inu is up 28% at $.0000089.
Polkadot is the only coin on the list that’s not in the green, down 3% in the last 24 hours.
