In celebration of the first anniversary since the launch of Gate Labs, a roundtable conference in two themed rounds was hosted on Twitter Spaces – Reflecting On Crypto In 2021 & Looking Forward To Crypto In 2022 and Web 3.0 From A Builder’s Perspective. The conference was aimed at hosting innovative individuals to discuss the present crypto industry and the future it holds in years to come.
Both events were held on February 20th, intellectuals and experts including Tom Rodriguez representing Gate.io, Mariela Tanchez representing Gate Labs, and representatives of DAO Maker, AcheronTrading, and more were present for the first round. The second round featured speakers such as Sofia Yan, DFL Erwin, Cora Chen, and Wilson Wu sharing their insight on the crypto industry.
“In the last market cycle, we did see a lot of applications, emerging markets, countries, and a lot of people entering the markets, which opens space for innovation. I was very excited to see people actually trying new ideas and having the support of the ecosystem. There was a lot more support for smaller projects from individual investors in 2021, where we had a bull market, which is a very good market to develop projects in,” said Mariela Tanchez, Business Developer at Gate.io during the event.
