A crypto investor whose early purchase of memecoin Shiba Inu (SHIB) made waves is now sending their tokens into new wallets.
Block explorer Etherscan shows that the owner initiated four transactions over the course of fifteen minutes, sending exactly 10,000,000,100,000 SHIB each time.
Last week it was reported that the holder’s initial investment of $8,000 turned into $5.7 billion during Shiba Inu’s meteoric rise over the course of 400 days, with some calling it the best trade of all time.
At time of writing, the total value of the transactions is $2.63 billion, and the original address now holds 30,200,003,047,106 SHIB worth about $1.86 billion.
SHIB is currently trading at $0.00006581, down 24.1% from its all-time high of $0.00008616 on October 28th, according to CoinGecko. The Ethereum-based memecoin is still up a whopping 93,808,128.6% in the past year.
The ninth-ranked crypto by market cap received a boost in September when Coinbase added support for the memecoin across all platforms. And in October, Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeted photo of his Shiba Inu puppy, igniting another rally for the token.
US crypto exchange Kraken also announced it was considering adding Shiba Inu to its marketplace shortly after SHIB surpassed Dogecoin (DOGE).
