An anonymous Bitcoin (BTC) whale is suddenly moving over $525 million of the crypto king in a single huge transaction.
According to new data from whale-surveying platform Whale Alert, a deep-pocketed trader abruptly shifted on Thursday a staggering 20,054 BTC worth about $525.7 million at time of writing from one unknown crypto wallet to another.
The transaction fee totaled 0.00530 BTC, or $139.
Around the same time on Thursday, another anonymous whale made a huge transaction, sending 11,261 BTC worth more than $295.1 million from one unknown to another unknown wallet, according to Whale Alert.
The transaction fee totaled 0.000498 BTC, or $13.05.
Other notable Bitcoin whale transactions on Whale Alert’s radar on Wednesday and Thursday include:
- 847 BTC worth more than $22.2 million transferred from crypto exchange Coinbase to an unknown wallet
- 1,842 BTC worth more than $48.5 million transferred from an unknown wallet to Coinbase
- 845 BTC worth more than $22.2 million transferred from Coinbase to an unknown wallet
- 1,843 BTC worth more than $48.5 million transferred from an unknown wallet to Coinbase
- 2,000 BTC worth more than $52.4 million transferred from crypto exchange Bitfinex to an unknown wallet
- 1,847 BTC worth more than $48.6 million transferred from an unknown wallet to Coinbase
- 854 BTC worth more than $22.4 million transferred from Coinbase to an unknown new wallet
