Asia’s largest AI infrastructure tokenization deal unlocks urgent compute capacity.
GAIB, the economic layer for AI and compute, today announced a $30 million partnership with Siam.AI, one of Thailand’s leading AI data center operators and the first sovereign NVIDIA Cloud Partner in Asia.
The financing will enable Siam.AI to expand its GPU infrastructure to support its scaling operations, powering the next generation of AI.
This partnership represents GAIB’s first GPU tokenization deal after receiving more than $79 million in yield-seeking deposits from investors.
AI demand is accelerating, but the infrastructure needed to support it faces significant capital bottlenecks.
Traditional banks and private credit are too slow, rigid and costly for fast-growing data centers, preventing them from scaling at the pace of innovation.
GAIB solves this by transforming GPUs into tokenized assets that can be financed rapidly through decentralized markets.
These assets stay liquid as synthetic dollars and yield-bearing instruments (stablecoins).
Through GAIB’s onchain capital, Siam.AI can acquire GPUs at the speed needed to stay competitive in the global race for compute services.
This strengthens its ability to provide enterprise-grade AI infrastructure to enterprises, researchers and startups across Asia, where demand for compute is surging.
Kony, CEO and co-founder of GAIB, said,
“Accessible capital is the missing piece to unlock real-world compute at scale.
“Where banks can’t provide, we’re jumping in to ensure that AI growth in Asia won’t be held back.”
Ratanaphon Wongnapachant, CEO and co-founder of Siam.AI, said,
“Working with GAIB allows us to secure the acquisition of critical GPUs at the speed our customers demand.
“The Asia-Pacific market is the fastest-growing division of the AI industry, and this will give us the competitive edge to stay ahead of the curve.”
At $30 million, this marks the largest GPU tokenization deal in Asia to date, underscoring GAIB’s leadership in bridging the gap between AI infrastructure and crypto-native capital formation.
