The top US-based crypto exchange by trading volume is combining forces with the world’s most popular smartphone producer to make accessing crypto even easier for Android users.
In a new press release, Coinbase has announced that Samsung Galaxy users can now access a free trial to Coinbase One in addition to Coinbase integration in Samsung Pay.
Says Coinbase Chief Business Officer Shan Aggarwal,
“Together with Samsung, we’re pairing their global scale with Coinbase’s trusted platform to deliver the best value for people to access crypto — starting with more than 75 million of Galaxy users across the U.S., and soon around the world.”
The integration is already live and up and running for US-based Samsung Galaxy users everywhere. The partnership was initially announced in July.
According to Drew Blackard, Senior Vice President of Mobile Product Management at Samsung Electronics America,
“Millions of Galaxy users rely on their smartphone to complete everyday tasks, and that goes far beyond communication — it’s paying in-store, unlocking a car, showing an ID, and more. Samsung Wallet enables each of these experiences and we’re continuing to expand its functionality. With our Coinbase partnership, Galaxy users have a simple and streamlined way to access crypto from a leader in the industry.”
