Augur’s decentralized platform for betting on future events is up and running, and it’s leading to some interesting wagers on what will happen in sports, politics and the world of cryptocurrency.
According to Predictions.Global, which tracks Augur’s predictions market, more than $1.1 million is already at stake.
So far, the money at play is pooled in a small number of markets, with the majority awaiting their first bets.
