The chief executive of crypto asset management firm Bitwise believes that 2025 will be a pivotal year for Bitcoin (BTC).
On the social media platform X, Hunter Horsley lists seven reasons why he expects Bitcoin to witness a massive breakthrough this year.
[adinserter block="1"]According to Horsley, he expects Bitcoin to see more capital inflows this year from institutions, nation-states, sovereign wealth funds and other blue-chip investors.
“This year you’re going to see:
1. More flows into ETFs
2. More corporates buying more Bitcoin
3. More nation states buying more Bitcoin
4. US Wealth Management buying for clients
5. Banks and FIs (financial institutions) launching services to help clients access Bitcoin
6. Regulators creating productive clarity
7. The world (geopolitics, monetary policy, etc.) increasingly in circumstances that drive the need for Bitcoin
And, you’re going to see more reputable people revealing their convictions in Bitcoin.
It’s going to be a watershed year.”
Horsley also says that the stage is being set for Bitcoin to witness widespread adoption and ascend to a seven-figure price level.
“People are wildly underestimating the massive leaps Bitcoin is going to take into the mainstream this year.
Never been more optimistic…

I see more and more evidence of why it will and less and less of why it won’t.”
