Brazilian online gambler Rafael “TheBigKid” Moraes took home a Bitcoin prize worth $1,050,560. He hit the big payout in the Americas Cardroom’s “Venom” tournament.
The event now holds the Guinness World Records title for the largest cryptocurrency jackpot in an online poker tournament.
The $5 Million Venom tournament wrapped up on July 24th and was reportedly the biggest tournament ever hosted by a United States-facing site, according to a blog post from the online poker company.

Americas Cardroom is known for its appreciation of crypto. The site processed its first Bitcoin transaction in 2015, and it now welcomes 60 different digital currencies.
Says the company,
