Two months after releasing the DARCwallet, Korean-based Konstellation hits a new milestone
In exciting news over the weekend, Konstellation Korea Ltd. announced that its flagship blockchain product, the DARCwallet, will now support the BNB Binance Token as well as other Binance Chain assets based on Binance’s own BEP2 token protocol. These assets were added to the current NEM-based tokens supported by, DARC and XEM.
Konstellation is in the midst of creating a one-of-a-kind niche ecosystem for the financial services sector that will provide unparalleled investment opportunities through services such as financial consultancy, tokenization, access to in-depth market data and news, OTC trading, advanced reporting, professional custody solutions and more.
To achieve this vision, Konstellation has cemented several partnerships, and is currently working on securing more, in order to offer the best financial services opportunities to its community of token holders. Innovative companies like third-generation blockchain infrastructure provider , predictive digital asset data analysis purveyor , news verifier Publish Inc., and many others join the Konstellation Network because they share Konstellation’s inspiring vision for the future of decentralized finance (DeFi).
With this new announcement, Konstellation has made another major step towards the execution of this DeFi vision. BNB is one of the top performing tokens of all time, being among the 10 biggest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization.
Binance is one of the biggest players in the blockchain industry. The trailblazing exchange company announced the launch of Binance Chain mainnet and its BEP2 protocol on April 19, 2019. BEP2 is a token management set of rules and pre-defined criteria implemented to launch on-chain assets on the Binance Chain. One hundred and thirty seven digital assets have been created on the Binance Chain in approximately five months since its launch. This growth is an astonishing measure of the acceptance of the new token protocol. A new BEP2 digital asset is issued, on average, every other day.
DARCwallet Features to Include Staking Rewards and Atomic Swaps
The developers at Konstellation also previously announced that two more options will be available to users: staking and swapping. In the future, users will have the ability to stake their DARC tokens and earn rewards for their active participation in the network. Atomic swaps will be enabled in future versions of the software.
The Konstellation team released the DARCwallet to provide a user-friendly, easy-to-use and efficient wallet to the crypto community. Integrating Binance Chain assets into the DARCwallet is another step in improving the user experience and overall utility of the program. The ability to securely store and transact with Binance Chain assets provides a wide range of digital assets to DARCwallet users. Support for other blockchain assets is scheduled for the future.
Konstellation is building a robust blockchain ecosystem to support the global financial services industry. Its native utility token, DARC, will power the Konstellation Network, a hybrid public/private blockchain which will allow for (i) blockchain-agnostic creation of digital assets, (ii) the seamless and global blockchain-enabled trusted interaction between critical counterparties and (iii) transparent, secure and, most importantly, compliant interactions with participating financial institutions. Konstellation is the source for financial institutions that want to prepare for the inevitable future in which all types of assets will exist and be recorded on the blockchain.
